James Fallon High School runs an afterschool program, JFHS Homework Centre, which provides students the opportunity to work on their studies or homework in the library. There is always at least one member of each faculty available to support students. Food and drinks are provided. The library staff work to create a positive and relaxed atmosphere which many students enjoy.

I contacted the school prior and organised to visit the homework centre on a weekly basis for several weeks prior to my placement commencing.

I was able to work with a large range of students, many of whom I would later interact with in a classroom setting.
