Teaching Portfolio
The image to the left is a photograph of the compilation of feedback I retrieved from my year eight class at James Fallon High School. I have covered the name of my associate teacher within the students’ comments. Towards the conclusion of my last lesson with the year eight class I explained the concept of a star and a wish. Students would provide a star, being one thing that they enjoyed about my lessons, and a wish, one thing they would have liked to be done differently. Students were told I wanted constructive feedback which could be used within my professional teaching portfolio as well as to develop my future teaching.

Being year eight students, the class struggled to come up with wishes for their feedback. I provided several prompts such as more physical activities, less musical activities, more textbook exercises, etc. However, most students were adamant they wouldn’t change a thing, which was greatly appreciated.
